A passenger bus full of young athletes was involved today in a head-on collision with a truck in Morocco that killed 31 people.
Nine have been injured, according to local reports.
The bus caught fire after the crash near the Moroccon town of Tan-Tan. The accident happened on the highway between the Moroccon capital, Rabat, and Laayoune, which is in the Western Sahara.
Tan-Tan is a city in Tan-Tan Province in the region of Guelmim-Es Semara in south-western Morocco. It is a desert town with a population of 60,560.
Many of the victims were killed by a fire which broke out following the crash, local media reported.
